I’ve recently added a new “co-worker” to my life: a tiny puppy with big eyes, boundless energy, and absolutely no sense of time. She wakes me up at 4 or 5AM, and whenever she feels like I’ve had enough rest. It’s adorable, it’s exhausting, and it’s reminded me that structuring my time is not optional. When you’re sleep-deprived and responsible for another living being, every wasted minute suddenly matters.
